Galveston County Bar Foundation

The Galveston County Bar Foundation was established in 2005 as the charitable arm of the Galveston County Bar Association operating as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. The Foundation solicits charitable contributions and provides funding to enhance the rule of law and the system of justice in Galveston County, especially for programs that relate to the administration of justice; ethics in the legal profession; legal assistance for the needy; the encouragement of legal research, publications, and forums; and the importance of legal education to the public.

How you can support the foundation and its projects

A tax-deductible contribution to the Galveston County Bar Foundation is one of the best investments GCBA members can make in the future of their profession and community. Members of the legal profession, the public, business organizations, charitable trusts, and other foundations may also create a memorial to an individual. Gifts may also be made in honor of someone, an anniversary, birthday, or other special occasions.

If a donation is a memorial or remembrance gift, please include information regarding who should receive an acknowledgment of the gift.

Gifts may be designated for specific projects or programs with the greatest need by the Galveston County Bar Foundation Leadership.

For questions or to make a donation, memorial, or gift to the Galveston County Bar Foundation, please contact the Foundation by email.
